V-Covery was designed to complement your existing programs and services as a Provider or Patient. It combines the most effective elements of the first home drug testing system (HDTS) approved to be sold over the counter (OTC) by the USA's FDA, Canada's Health Canada, and the UK's Medical Device Agency. The system helps to deter and early detect substance abuse via drug testing within the privacy of the home, with the analysis conducted and confirmed at a SAMSHA certified laboratory. It also offers comprehensive risk evaluation and education. We have integrated the HDTS with technology to allow the substance abuse Provider and their Patients to see, hear and talk to each other in "real time" over the Internet. V-Covery represents the first "virtual" (telehealth) substance abuse capability of its type, anywhere. V-Covery not only provides a comprehensive and concentrated focus on substance abuse prevention and relapse, but also addresses the problems of stigma, access and availability of substance abuse services.
We have designed V-Covery to supplement your existing program and support network with its services available to you as an individual or organization. This is true whether you live in a remote or rural area, attending AA, NA, or a VIP who has just completed treatment at a high-end clinic. You decide which, and how many services to use to enhance your existing support network. Our objective is to help you provide and/or receive better substance abuse services and support. This may be accomplished with "actual" contact between Provider and Patient or "virtually" from the Patient's home independent of the distance between Provider and Patient.
